What is the Wake Forest Student Union Art Buying Trip?

Began in 1963, it happens every 4 years. Selected students travel to New York City for about 4 days, visit many galleries, and select works for purchase with a significant budget from the university. The next trip will happen in Spring 2021!

Why do I need to know about this now?

To apply, students must be enrolled in Art 285 – Global Contemporary Art in Fall 2020 (Tu-Th 9:30-10:45).
Prioritize getting into this class if you are interested in the trip. If this class fills up after first round of registration, a spot in the class cannot be guaranteed!
If accepted, there is another required class in Spring 2021, as well as weekly meetings.
The trip to New York will be the second half of Spring Break 2021.
